Report on the social reintegration of ex-prisoners by QCEA

The Quaker Council for European Affairs (QCEA) has published a report on the issue of reintegration of ex-prisoners. The QCEA was founded in 1979 to promote the values of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) in the European context, particularly in matters of peace, human rights, and economic justice. QCEA is based in Brussels. And although the idea that prison should be rehabilitative, preparing prisoners for their release back into society in a way that facilitates a life without crime has been followed in many European agreements and treaties, QCEA presents this report with the underlying arguments.
